How to Find Your Appliance Model Number
You need the exact model number to order the right parts, check warranty status, and find accurate repair guides. Here's exactly where to look on every major brand.

Depending on the brand, the label may use different terminology. Here's what each term means:

Bosch
🫧 Washing Machine
Inside the door opening on the door frame (left or right side). Look for a white sticker with E-Nr and FD codes. The E-Nr is your model number.
The E-Nr on Bosch machines ends in "GB" for UK models — e.g. WGG24400GB
🍽️ Dishwasher
On the inner top edge of the door — open the door fully and look along the top rim. Alternatively on the left side door edge.
Look for the label marked "E-Nr" — ignore the FD number which is the production date.
🔌 Fridge / Fridge Freezer
Inside the fridge compartment on the rear wall or side wall, usually near the top. Also sometimes on the kick plate at the bottom front.
🔌 Oven / Cooker
On the door frame when you open the oven door — look on the top, bottom or side of the inner frame. May also be on the back of the appliance.
Samsung
🫧 Washing Machine
Inside the door rim — open the door and look around the rubber door seal. There is usually a sticker on the inner drum lip. Also may be behind the kick plate at the bottom.
Samsung model codes often end in /EU (Europe) or /EG. Include the full suffix when searching for parts.
🔌 Fridge / Fridge Freezer
On the inside wall of the fridge compartment — usually the right-hand side. Open the fridge door and look at eye level.
🍽️ Dishwasher
On the door edge — open the dishwasher door and look along the top or side of the inner door frame.
Hotpoint
🫧 Washing Machine
Inside the door opening on the front face of the machine, above or below the door seal. Also check behind the soap drawer — pull it out fully to reveal a sticker.
Hotpoint model numbers typically start with letters followed by numbers e.g. NSWM1045CWUKN.
🍽️ Dishwasher
Along the inner door edge — open the door fully and look at the top or side of the inner frame.
🔌 Fridge / Fridge Freezer
Inside the fridge on the rear or side wall. Also sometimes under the salad drawer at the bottom.
Indesit
🫧 Washing Machine
Inside the door aperture on the front fascia of the machine. Also behind the detergent drawer — pull it fully out and look at the cavity.
Indesit and Hotpoint are the same company (Whirlpool Group) so label placement is usually identical.
🍽️ Dishwasher
On the inner door edge — open the door and look on the top rail or left side.
LG
🫧 Washing Machine
Inside the door on the door seal area, or on the back of the machine near the top. Also sometimes on the kick plate at the bottom front.
LG model numbers often start with F (front loader) or T (top loader) e.g. F4T209WSE.
🔌 Fridge / Fridge Freezer
Inside the fridge on the left or right inner wall near the top, or on the back wall behind the salad drawer.
Beko
🫧 Washing Machine
Inside the door rim on the machine's front face around the door opening. May also be behind the soap drawer.
Beko model numbers are usually 8–12 characters e.g. WTK104151W.
🍽️ Dishwasher
On the inner door edge — open the door and check the top or side of the inner frame.
🔌 Fridge / Fridge Freezer
Inside the fridge on the side or rear wall. Also check the back of the appliance.
Miele
🫧 Washing Machine
Inside the door opening on the door frame — usually top or bottom of the inner frame rim. Miele labels are typically very clear and easy to read.
Miele model numbers start with W (washing machine) e.g. WDD035WPS or WCB020WCS.
🍽️ Dishwasher
On the inner left side of the door — open the door fully and look on the left-hand inner panel.
⚫
🫧 Washing Machine
Same as Bosch (same parent company) — inside the door frame on the left or right side. Look for the E-Nr on the label.
Siemens and Bosch parts are often interchangeable. The E-Nr suffix "GB" indicates a UK model.
🍽️ Dishwasher
Inside top edge of the door — open fully and check the inner top rim.
AEG
🫧 Washing Machine
On the door frame inside the door opening, or on the back of the machine. Look for PNC (Product Number Code) — a 9-digit number.
AEG uses PNC codes rather than model names on parts websites. Always note both the PNC and the model name.
🍽️ Dishwasher
On the left inner door edge or behind the kick plate at the bottom.
Zanussi
🫧 Washing Machine
Same as AEG and Electrolux (same group) — inside the door frame or behind the soap drawer. Look for the PNC number.
Zanussi, AEG and Electrolux often share the same parts. The PNC is the key identifier.
🍽️ Dishwasher
Inner door edge — top or side. Also check the back of the appliance.
Whirlpool
🫧 Washing Machine
Behind the detergent drawer — pull the drawer out fully and look at the back of the cavity. Also inside the door opening on the machine fascia.
Whirlpool model numbers often start with FSCR, FWSG or FWDD followed by digits.

On the inner door edge — open the door and look along the top or left side of the frame.
