What this error means

Water level sensor fault — the pressure sensor has completely stopped responding

The E07 error means the water level pressure sensor has sent no signal to the control board at all — it has completely stopped responding rather than sending an incorrect reading. E07 most commonly indicates a disconnected pressure hose, a completely blocked pressure hose drum stub, a failed pressure sensor, or a broken wire to the sensor.

Step-by-step

1
Unplug the machine and wait 60 seconds for the control board to fully reset
A brief power interruption sometimes causes the pressure sensor circuit to latch and a full discharge clears this
2
Run an empty 90-degree service wash with a descaling tablet
A completely blocked pressure hose drum stub causes total sensor dropout and a hot descale cycle can clear hardened deposits
3
Check the machine is sitting level on the floor
An off-level machine affects water distribution near the pressure hose connection point
4
If E07 appears on every single cycle without variation proceed directly to the pressure hose inspection

Symptoms to look for

  1. Machine fills then pauses without beginning to tumble
  2. Programme stops during the fill phase with E07 displayed
  3. Machine fills to an unusually high level before faulting
  4. E07 appears on every cycle without exception

Perform a full power reset

Unplug the machine and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Leave unplugged for 60 seconds. Plug back in and run a 40-degree programme. If E07 clears and the machine fills normally, the fault was a temporary signal dropout.

Unlike E04 which can be intermittent, E07 typically returns on every cycle because the sensor is receiving no signal at all.
Check the pressure hose connection at both ends

With the machine unplugged, remove the top panel. Locate the pressure hose running from the drum stub to the sensor. Check that it is still connected at both ends — a hose that has pulled off a stub fitting causes an immediate total signal dropout. Push both ends firmly back onto their stubs and test before investigating further.

A hose that has simply pulled off its fitting is one of the most common causes of E07 on Beko machines.
Clear the pressure hose

Disconnect the hose from both stubs. Blow firmly through the full length — for E07 you are looking for a complete blockage. If no airflow passes at all, the hose is fully blocked. Flush with warm water to clear, then dry fully before refitting. Clear the drum stub with a cotton bud.

A drum stub completely sealed with hardened limescale requires soaking in descaler. Do not use a metal tool to force through — the stub is fragile plastic and can crack.
Test the pressure sensor

With the hose disconnected and the wiring connector removed, test across the sensor terminals. Blow gently into the hose port — the resistance should change as pressure is applied. A sensor that reads OL in all states with no change has completely failed.

Only test with the machine completely unplugged.
Inspect the sensor wiring

Trace the wiring from the pressure sensor to the main harness. The connector must be fully seated with clean, uncorroded pins. Disconnect and firmly reconnect.

A fully disconnected pressure sensor connector produces E07 because the control board receives no signal — this is a common result of previous servicing where the connector was not properly refitted.
Reconnect and test

Push the pressure hose firmly onto both stubs. Replace the top panel. Run a 40-degree programme and observe the fill — the drum should fill to the normal level, pause briefly, then begin tumbling.

If the machine overfills during this test stop and unplug immediately.

When to call an engineer

  • Pressure hose drum stub completely blocked with hardened limescale — soaking required
  • Pressure sensor reads OL in all states with no change when pressure is applied — sensor has failed
  • Wiring connector to pressure sensor is fully disconnected or corroded
  • E07 persists after hose clearing and connector reseating — sensor must be replaced
Common questions

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between E04 and E07 on a Beko washing machine?
E04 means the pressure sensor is sending a signal but it is incorrect. E07 means the sensor is sending no signal at all — usually a disconnected hose or completely failed sensor.
Can a disconnected pressure hose cause E07?
Yes — if the hose has pulled off either end the air pressure channel is broken and the sensor receives no signal. Always check the hose connections before replacing components.
Is there an overfill risk with E07?
Yes — if the sensor cannot report any water level the control board may keep the inlet valve open indefinitely. Do not leave the machine unattended after an E07 fault.
Can I reattach a disconnected pressure hose myself?
Yes — push it firmly back onto its stub. This is safe and straightforward with the machine unplugged.
