What does the Indesit F07 error code mean?

F07 is closely related to F08 and indicates the heating circuit is not functioning correctly. Where F08 specifically flags the element or sensor, F07 is a broader heating circuit fault that can also include the wiring to the element, a relay on the PCB that controls the element, or the element connection terminals.

How to fix the Indesit F07 error code

  1. Check whether F07 appears on hot programmes only — this confirms it is heating-related.
  2. Inspect the element wiring terminals for corrosion or burn marks when the machine is unplugged.
  3. Test the element with a multimeter as described in the F08 guide.
  4. If the element tests healthy, the fault may be with the relay on the main PCB that switches the element on — visible as a burnt or discoloured component on the board.
  5. A qualified engineer can isolate whether the fault is the element, relay, or wiring.
